Community

Community matters.

No woman should walk through separation alone. Beyond our practice, we gather, advocate and build a circle of support — because healing happens in community.

Advocacy

EVE — End Violence Everywhere

Chantalle Sterne is a board member of EVE – End Violence Everywhere, a North American nonprofit that puts survivors at the centre of its work. This commitment extends our advocacy for women experiencing domestic violence, intimate partner violence and coercive control beyond the practice.

“Dedicated to ending violence in every community by putting survivors first.”

— EVE's mission

EVE connects survivors and families with legal advocacy, safe housing referrals, trauma-informed therapy and wrap-around care — prioritizing dignity, safety and empowerment. Its mission brings together survivor-centred support, systemic legal reform and inclusive allyship to address abuse and its root causes.

EVE rallies government for meaningful legislative change, partnering with policymakers, coalitions and grassroots movements to reform laws, influence public policy and expand protections for survivors. Through education and community engagement, it works toward a future where no survivor faces violence alone or without support.

Advocacy doesn't end at the courtroom door.

Coming Soon

The Dinner Party Series.

A long table, candlelight and conversation that matters. The Dinner Party Series is an intimate evening where women gather to talk freely about money — financial independence, building wealth, and keeping what is yours.

No jargon. No judgement. Just women holding space for one another, learning the language of money over good food and honest conversation — because a woman who understands her finances is a woman who owns her future.

In Partnership

Equine Therapy.

We work alongside an equine therapy organization to offer private retreats for women in small, intimate group settings — held in King City, beside a gorgeous old barn, with the horses just beyond the door.

Equine-assisted therapy invites the horse in as a partner in healing. Horses are exquisitely attuned to what a person is carrying, and they ask for nothing but presence — no story, no explanation, no performance. Grooming, leading, or simply standing beside them brings what is unsettled to the surface and gives the body a way to settle it. Many women find it reaches places that conversation alone cannot.

The work is guided by a psychiatrist who has devoted her practice to this quiet, powerful modality, so every retreat is held with both clinical care and deep tenderness. Groups stay small by design — a handful of women, a few horses, and a whole day of room to breathe.

The horse doesn't ask what happened. It simply meets you where you are.

Why It Matters

Separation can feel isolating. Community reminds you that you are held.

When women share knowledge, resources and stories, the path forward becomes clearer and far less daunting. That is the future we are building — together.
